I will say though for those who asked about connecting this phone to the PS3, it wont be worth your time anyways if you found a way to connect them. VM is putting a speed cap on plans once the data threshold reaches 2.5GB which on a PS3 wouldn't take long ago all haha. You'd drop down to low end DSL speeds with a few hours I'd think.
Tethering VM's phone is more for a casual browse on the net or watch a video here and there when away from home and not near a public hotspot.

So far only "ad-hoc mode" is working on the Triumph. I personally don't like ad-hoc. It has WEP encryption only and the ad-hoc is more prone to signal drops than "infrastructure mode" which gives WPA2-PSK encryption and strong connections and is far more compatible.
This will work for laptops and computers but tablets and video game systems will have problems if they do no support ad-hoc mode which most do not.

Is there a work around to connect to a android tablet with the phone . I have no Problem getting it to connect but no data ? Looks like the PC's needs software to get the data to flow so will the tablet be able to do the same? Thanks

Just bought my son a triumph two weeks ago. I look forward to trying this out in his phone now...thanks!
Seems like a lot of trouble to get dial-up speeds :(

@Uplift91 As stated in the video, it's just the apartment we are in. It has horrible reception. You can expect better speeds in areas with better reception.
