The flat where Jim Morrison died in 1971. The footage has been taken August, 2006 during our vacations in Paris. Dindon et Laisse is the new name for the Pub where Jim used to drink and write during the short time he lived in Paris. We managed to enter the flat and take some pictures from the courtyard.

  • there will never be another...RIP~

PS-no audio on this drives me crazy!!

    lol

would *love* to know what the people are saying on here!!! :)

  • Sorry, there was no speak, only "the severed garden" as background music. I did'nt know it was not permitted by federal laws... In Italy we can use music and works-of-art if they have more than 25 years.

  • great post i went there last year and i was trying to sneak inside but too no avail

  • Pheraps you were unlucky, we waited that someone entered the main door and then we sneak inside very easily.

Inside there was an office or so

  • First, we are not parisians, second, we had 2 beers for 4 people, third we are italians

  • well in Italy you have a freer country than we do here in Amerika, where puss-headed lawyers and companies and churches make the laws they want shoved on the rest of the people.

  • Grazie per questo io sono stato al crematorio pere lachaise ma non lo sapevo dove lui il grande Jim Morrison era morto. RIP.

  • one word for this___terrible

  • THis is pretty cool. I like this thanks for sharing. I am American and i will never get a chance to fly overthe damn Atlantic Ocean to go to anywhere in Europe let alone James' Gravesite. I Would love to visit paris someday though

  • Most people who visit his grave have no right to be there. They are thrill seeking tourists, and know nothing about the man and his mind. Piss off and go to Disneyland instead.

  • Rue de Beautreillis 17 Rue de Beautreillis = 17 letters :) cool

  • Jim's front yard was a watering hole...HAHAHA!

  • I wonder who is living there now wish i could look inside his flat!

  • @JTerrible63 I't just the same here in italy.. do you know berlusconi? he is a mafious piece of shit..

  • @MrSistermaryelephant faked his death ????? you for real or in a bad place ?.
