Well, what in tarnations is this? This here William Lane Craig talks about a multiverse and two Texans playin' a game of Texas Hold 'em. Any improbable probability is probable, get it? Well, yee-haw! Lookee dat! That darn horse done popped into existence out of nothin'!: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqfoiL9_deU

  • It's sad that this humorous bit from Craig is actually also a knock-down argument against the Multi-verse style atheists. The fact that they are willing to postulate the world ensemble, a priori, just to protect their atheism from the unlikely fine-tuning, is quite revealing.

  • @Mentat1231 You should listen to Craig's latest lecture where he argues that if (for the sake of argument) a multiverse exists then God MUST exist. I think that would throw some atheists for a loop. But here it is: watch?v=0KqU9N5QJvI

  • @Mentat1231 What a supersmart comment. I might be a little biased.

  • @drcraigvideos "Well, yee-haw! Lookee dat! That darn horse done popped into existence out of nothin'!"......I just cracked up so hard when I read that part of the description, LOL!! ^_^

  • @samcarr6 I believe in God and thought that was quite funny, and witty as usual.

Yes, I'd seen that video posted by someone else. Absolutely beautiful reasoning. They are essentially saying that a Fine-Tune Universe would necessarily come if there were an infinitely MORE fine-tuned Multiverse, spitting out Universes for an infinite amount of time. Not only is it logically incoherent, but it demands the Fine-Tuner infinitely more. Classic.

  • i dont believe in god but that was quite funny, and witty as usual

  • Craig is not only good at philosophy, but he's also good at satire.

  • @IloveYOUviruses A maximally great being = the definition of a god? I dont think so somehow, being maximally great doesnt = created everything. It just means you are better than anything else (by whichever means you measure "great" or "better"). Logically a "maximally great" being must exist in any universe beings exist.
