"Libiamo ne'lieti calici" from "La Traviata" by G.Verdi (excerpt)
Humorous duet with himself :)

Шутливый дуэт с самим собой :)

  • Boskie. Słyszałem p. Jacka na żywo. Absolutnie wspaniałe.

  • @countertenors Chapeau bas!

  • TALENT ! :)

  • @allthenamesrtook What a captious person you are! But what do you require of him to be a tenor in the first place? To be the second Pavarotti? ;D

  • @countertenors a couple, not many honestly, and his tenor singing is much better in those recording and videos but it still isn't enough to make him a tenor :)

  • @allthenamesrtook But still this video is just a joke. Have you heard any other recordings of him singing tenor?

  • @countertenors no, it resonated between the chest and throat, and when he sings as a tenor, his vibrato is quick and fluttery, the same as a countertenors not a normal tenors and also his tenor voice doesn't have a full rounded sound like it should be, listen to the note he sings at 18/19 seconds, it isn't a very full sounding note, almost every tenor would be able to get that note perfect as its well within the tenor range, but it lack's dynamics and full voice control

  • @allthenamesrtook My point was that his falsetto here is not perfect at all, so his tenor "faults" are not really an argument. It's just a joke, after all - singers are not supposed to change "gears" like that in a such kind of repertoire. Still you didn't mention any specific criteria. Let's put it this way then: what exactly features or qualities does he lack as a tenor? What it schould be so you could identify him as a such?

  • @allthenamesrtook [On DQ Lee] Well, off course he has a chest voice, but the difference between theese singers is David had studied as a countertenor and then sang as a such; Laszczkowski, on the other hand, originally sang (and was educated) as a tenor and started to sing soprano almost ten years later.

  • @allthenamesrtook [On head voice] I see. As far as I know, in our country it is called "the head register". Nevertheless, Jacek apparently uses it in the upper part of his tenor range (famous tenor C5 and so on). By the way, doesn't falsetto resonate in the head area when singing in the upper part of the range?
