It most definitely is Cheap Trick. This is from the demo they cut in Memphis in 1975.

cheaptrickmusic sir you are quite right!.....I stand corrected. I think Robin Zander is one of the most amazing vocalists to come out of the 70's, 80's...and this version completely stunned me! I just seen the remastered cd at kmart today!

C'mon, C'mon.....folks this isn't cheap trick! ....yes the singer is pretty right on the vocals, but he does things vocally that Robin Zander never did in any other recording before or since this song.
