  • I live in Ontario about 60 miles from Toronto so it was free. No idea of U.S cost.. Check out The NY Times archive for the article. Only 3 centres in the U.S do it and Sunnybrook in Toronto.

  • HOW IS HIS HAND RIGHT NOW?

  • Right hand was done 1 1/2 yrs ago and left 1 yr and both are still perfect. I do flex them regularly and expect it to return at some point but I am thrilled with the non-invasive procedure and short recovery.

  • Hi everyone,

    I just had the procedure done by Dr. Binhammer and it was great. The only pain I felt was the needle going in to freeze my hand and other then that I had to hear the scar bands tearing leading me to talk about my life to the nurse. They laughed and within 5 minutes it was done. My hand is straight, some throbbing however not painful. I have to have a splint for 3 months, only while sleeping.

    Worth the wait. If you like to see before and after photos let me know via here.

  • @fabmas44 i don't know you, but i shall be praying for

    you; let me know how it turns out =]

  • @curemsa HI; i feel her pain; i used to play guitar;

    then i learned to play piano by ear; i played a 9-minute

    piece of classical music 2 years ago in a talent show;

    then DC t00k my hands away from me; i can barely

    eat properly; i cry inwardly daily as i wrote many songs,

    mostly instrumental, and saved them on my PC; THEN

    i was in the hospital for almost every week for 9 months

    only to find that my PC crashed, with all the music

    gone; i can not play it again; please PRAY for all with DC.

  • I am getting this procedure done on my left hand on the 16Th of August and I can not wait.

    I will report on my experiences.

    FREE in Canada, if your Canadian and live in Ontario, however, Dr. Binhammer has a LOOOOOONG waiting list. I think up to one year just for a visit.

  • The noise of the scar bands tearing... :P

  • @mazatlanrealty it costs around $600.00.

  • I live in NB Canada and i ended up with my little finger on my right hand amputated. I was told it was heriditary . My finger was so close that i had surgery to straighten it out. Then it just stood out straight getting in the way. My 2 daughters have the trigger finger disease. I was 43 yrs old. My daughters were 1 yr and 10 yrs old. When they had surgery. It does not matter your age.

  • Hi, I live in mexico and here we do not have that kind of surgery how much will it cost to have it done in the USA?
