  • Paul, Do you think can this run at 5.5v still run a 10 LEDs? Great vid,

  • Yes it is. Its a Bifiliar with 200 Ohms on one and 100 Ohms on the other wire the LEDs are directly hooked up to the 2nd coil I think. Its been a while now.

  • is the pulse coil doubly wound? are u collecting back emf in pulse coil? if so how?

  • The core was slowing it down (Magnets were attracted to it) so I took it out. Runs silent now and quite fast.

  • Is your driver coil air core?

  • Its the inside spindle out of a Hard Drive. Check out my earlier videos with "HD" in the title

    Yes they are Fishing Magnets (Neo) can pull up to 55kg each!

    They seem to be working well together, and only cost about £20 for the magnets

  • What bearing are you using and are those Neo magnets?
