Here's part 1 of the opening match. It features a bunch of "comeback kids", folks who have not been on TV in quite a while. Hall of Famer Amleto Monacelli rolled 278 game against Brad Angelo in the position match last night to vault himself onto the telecast. Lefty Richard Wolfe defeated Chris Barnes in the final game of match play to stay in the telecast. Amleto now takes on birthday boy Richard Wolfe.

  • TOTALLY SUCKS that the US Open won't be in New Jersey in 2010. WTF? What's wrong with Carolier Lanes? They moved it to Michigan I think. BOO!

  • You can thank your pal Chris Barnes for that one. During the first round of match play, Chris left a solid 8 pin and whacked the scoring monitor so hard it became inoperable.

  • Amleto!!! Awesome to see him back =D nice to see Richard Wolfe as well. Salamat!

  • Walang anuman.

  • @iheartmasha The homo used to wear a head band??? Why are you glad to see him back???

  • Amleto revolutionized the game in the late 80's and early 90's. venezuela ranks Amleto as one of the top 5 athletes ever from that country. he introduced the modern day power game to the masses, and gave the pba a huge spike in fans. early on he kept making the tv show but missed spares. once he got his spare game together he basically dominated pro bowling for about 2 years and earned BACK TO BACK pba player of the year honors.
