Natali Cardenas Paloma, with the Mexican conservation group ProNatura, is researching an area off the Yucatan peninsula where some of the largest populations of whale sharks in the world come to feed. ProNatura is conducting the research to try to determine how best to go about protecting the whale sharks as the site becomes a popular ecotourism spot. http://www.pronatura-ppy.org.mx/
