I watch all three video clips and not one shot at a deer. Thats like 15 minutes of my life I will never get back. I live in Hudson so I won't give you to much crap about it. Good to see you put your time in, you will close the deal someday! I just bought a Canon GL2 video camera that I used last season. I got my brother on tape shooting a doe in MN and a co-worker missing a small buck twice. its his first year hunting. Check out my videos sometime. Its fun in the woods with a camera. later

No, I am a dog owner and would never shoot a dog unless it was attacking me. This dog was pretty friendly and seemed kind of scared & lost. I walked him back to the nearest road where his owner was waiting for him. They were coyote hunting.

did you shoot them?

Where in St. Croix werer you???

I hunted WI on opener and it was not fun sitting in the rain all weekend!
I heard Carlos Avery has some big deer in it but you have to do quite a bit of walking to get to the good areas.

You could check out the MN DNR website, they have public areas listed you might not have known of. Then you can go to mapquest and check out an aerial view of the property before you go. It could give you a pretty good idea of where to set a stand or blind.
