Look how broad multi-point answer Obama gives out on a complex and controversial subject such as abortion. Yet, the religious fundamentalists had stopped listening when Obama began articulating an answer rationally and looking at all sides of the coin. Religion stops a thinking mind.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

The Roe v. Wade court ruled that the 9th Amendment retains the rights of people against the state, saying that that Common Law didn't criminalize abortion, and therefore concluding that there was a right to abortion retained under the 9th Amendment against states.

In other words, they pulled it out of their asses, and they are the supreme dictators whose word is law.

Here's the deal: the federal courts have ruled that it's a biological father's "civic duty" to pay child-support, just like to be drafted in a time of war.

But for some reason, it's not the biological MOTHER'S civic duty to CARRY the child to term-- even though her chances of survival are much better than a man's in war.

So clearly we have a double-standard, and that women have more rights than men.

Well that's for the state to decide, legally, since it's a power reserved TO the state under the 9th and 10th amendments.

But the Supreme Court has decided that the 9th amendment RESTRICTS the states, when it actually restricts the FEDERAL government.

We live under an empire where the government is the master and the people are the slaves-- and a slave isn't free just because he can choose his master!
