@TactfulTrout millipedes are common in the desert here. i'd like to catch a couple and have them for pets. they get pretty big too!

@ the pyro....... Millipedes are way scarier than centipedes! Check out some of the other vids on YouTube and the millipedes are beasts! They're epic as but I'd never get in ones way haha

i'm taking care of my tecthers pet milliped he has in class, and it was in very poor health. it has some kind of bugs on it, they look like little spiders, do you know what they are, and are they good or bad for the millipede? please let me know if you know thank you.

The mites don't hurt them if there aren't very many, but you can pretty easily pick them off. Get a q-tip with a little vaseline jelly on the tip and use it to dab the mites away. Just be sure not to use too much vaseline, because you don't want to get it all over the millipede.
