Klaus talks about the new album ,,Sting In The Tail´´ and why the Scorpions finish their career after 45 years on the ,,Crazy Rock n´ Roll Train´´.

Moderator: And now I´m very happy that Klaus Meine is here. You are on tour now and you have already been in Moscow, Prague and Los Angels to get a place on the Rock Walk. But the new album is your last. Why?

Klaus: We think it´s the right time to finish our career after 45 Years on the crazy Rock n´Roll train, because we don´t want to be onstage without the typcial scorpion power.
And we are very that we can finish our career with the powerful and strong album ,,Sting In The Tail´´.

Moderator: But I think you still have the power, because you still have a great voice and look very fit. So don´t you think it´s possible to go on?

Klaus: Of course but we want to still have that power until the last concert and we don´t want that our fans say that our performence was very better a few years ago. Because we have always been a great live band and we want to have that energie until the end and we want stop on the highest note.

Moderator: You are going to start your tour in Leipzig next Friday and I think that´s great because your world-wide hit ,,Wind Of Change´´ means a lot for the People, who live in east Germany. But I want to ask you: Is it good or bad for you that many people in Germany always say ,Wind Of Change´´ if the talk about the Scorpions?

Klaus: Of course and I think many other musicans think the same about their biggest hits, but if the Scorpions play ,,Wind of Change´´ it´s still an amazing feeling for us.

Moderatior: ,,Wind of Change´´ is a politicail song and would you say that the Scorpions are a politicail band?

Klaus: No we have never a politicail band but it has been a very politicial time for us in RUssia in 1989. And ,,Wind of Change´´ is a song about hope and also about politcial.
