Fair review of the Hi-Point C9

A balanced review of the Hi-Point C9. I have seen many people praise this gun for what it isn't. But I've also seen many people bash this as a cheap, unreliable weapon. I think this gun definitely does it's job.

@straightshooter90 It's pronounced as "Him-en-ez", not "Jim-en-ez"! It's a Mexican name and the letter 'J' is pronounced as the letter 'H' in Spanish.

@EquipaPatriot lol fair enough. I usually do pronounce it that way but so many people have pronounced it with a "J" sound on youtube that I decided it was no big deal. But anyway, I pronounce "crap" with a "c", and that's what Jimenez products are.

the hogue grip makes a hell of a difference, 600 rounds through mine so far this past year no jams.. its not the weapon that has problems its the shitty magazines, some magazine lips needed to be tweaked a little bit

Nice vid. Just got high point 9mm : got alot of ammo for my birthday, and I mean alot Winchester 115 FMJ. 9-mm-- Target--have you ever fired this ammo. please give me feed back.hope this ammo--does go to waste not a rich man-only pistol

I've had 1 hang up so far with mine out of 100 rounds. I totally agree though. When I first bought it I noticed how cheap the mag looked. When I feed the mag into the gun sometimes it is ruff and hangs up a bit.

I Own every Model of Hi Point made. I love them all for different reasons and they ARE my first choice for CCW except the 9mm Carbine.

I have a Hi-Point 9mm.  I haven't had one miss fired or hang up with it. I could not be more happy with this guy and I saved a ton buying it. The only thing I would recommend is just taking care of it. Just because it is cheap doesn't mean it should be treated cheap. I've only put brass case bullets through it.

I just bought one. I have fired 150 rounds through it and it has NEVER jammed. Not once. Excellent gun for the price

Wish it had more capacity, but it is reliable Like the Duck Commander says"I only requiew 3 things of my gun. BOOM< BOOM< BOOM---this gun has it, and is ugly to boot
