I live in Florida and have never seen hand warmers in any of the stores I frequent. Of course I was not actually LOOKING for them either. What stores carry them?

O2 absorbers aren't needed in dry climates, when food storage buckets are topped off with no space for O2. Thats something else the gov't won't tell you.
Bottom line, if you are storing food in sealable buckets, and you live in a humid climate, place O2 absorbers inside.
