MUSICAL EXCERPTS FROM THE MOVIE "DAS DONKOSAKEN LIED"

From the 9 videos of the movie (published by "Rarifavistube" - see his channel :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRm_Wd2luw8 ) I extracted the main songs "Cossacks Patrol" - Kalinka - Evening Bells". It is a good opportunity for youtubers that dont speak german or dislike a rather kitschy movie to enjoy the singing of the Don Cossacks choir
of Serge Jaroff.
In few words the story of the movie:
Small Peter lives after the death of his mother with its sister Helga and his foster father professor Hartmann. Peter is with a strong heart illness, may not excite himself even just listening to music. He admires Don Cossacks,who remind him with their songs of his Russian mother, but may not listen to them on the radio. All the more it makes him happy, when the choir has an breakdown during a tour with its leader Serge Jaroff nearby us house. While driver Karl repairs the bus, Peter sings to the choir a song of its mother, which the choir never heard before.
Some weeks later Rolf, manager of the choir appears , in order to get the notes of that song. The choir wants to take up the song to its program, but knows it only from hearing.
The Don Cossacks want to give a concert, where for the first time also Peter's song will have to be heard in Munich. They invite him, but Helga forbids ill Peter to participate to the concert. Peter leaves home and goes to Munich. In the concert hall Rolf finds Peter and allows him to take place in a loge. When his song, which is called now Wetscherni Swon (Evening Bells) , is interpreted, he sings the German lyrics in addition. The spectators are enthusiastic, but with the excitement Peter became exhausted. Helga and Heinz, which drove to Munich searching Peter, bring him home. His condition worsens rapidly, he dreams from his mother, that waits for him. At the end the doctor lets the Don Cossacks get into his house. Before the sick-room they sing Wetscherni and Peter dies happy.
