Omega - The De Ville Hour Vision

When it was introduced in 2007, the Omega De Ville Hour Vision heralded a new era for Omega. It was the watch that introduced the Co-Axial calibre 8500/8501 whose every part was created in-house using technology which has defined the way mechanical watch movements will be made in the 21st century.
While the De Ville Hour Vision was a milestone for Omega, it also marked a return to the brand's roots. Omega was, after all, the first watch company ever to produce an industrialized movement; in fact, the brand took its name from one of its series produced watch movements in the 19th century!
