Randy Vick is a professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In this film, he discusses his interest in "outsider art" and its link to art therapy through Project Onward http://www.projectonward.org/. Randy is currently researching the use of art therapy in stroke rehabilitation, using virtual technology. Additionally, he researches 'men in art therapy' and discusses the fact that men are a small percentage of the field (6%). Randy goes on to discuss the potential of art therapy, mentioning the innate creativity that those in the field have to offer.
