  • at 4:05, was bustin' that window out for ventilation a bad idea? I mean, I know you probably can't really tell when you should vent or not, but that fire went up pretty fast. Just wonderin' if he did the right thing or not.

  • @guitar4meandu It was the only way to control the rollover that was about to occur. With the line in place at the door, it was ventilated, so it could be extinguished.

  • what cam do you have and can it take the heat

  • @bfdengine2 I have the MiniHD, and the FC3, both from FIREVIDEO. NET, and they can definately take the heat, water, and abuse we put them through. I highly recomend either one.

  • did the house have smoke alarms?

  • This is my fav video of your guys! Keep up the excellent work and stay safe!

  • Was it really smart for them ffs to be standing under that power line fighting the blaze???

  • did you see that when they backed out right to fight left to live awesome video great job guys

  • It is scary how quiet it is 3 days ago in eau claire wisconsin about a block down was a huge fire and crews were there for about 5 hours they had the fire out around the third and a half hour

  • So with that ventilation i say very well done sir, its a lost art amongst the common day fire service. if you let the heat out you can go in and get the fire. i think its a simple concept that was shown well in your video, but also you can tell early ventilation would have been key

  • Ladder work? Roof vent?

  • @WestPlainsFD going to but them on my x mas list great vids too
