  • This is not a very accurate representation of the Wagner piece. I would suggest that this performer listen more carefully to the melody and the chords of the original and learn the correct version before trying to teach others.

  • I am allowed to make my own interpretation of the song

    Thats all it is.

  • you are not very thorough. you need to be more specific and show the picking pattern

  • you should be able to pick it out, what time are you confused with and I'll be glad to help.

  • thanks for the simplified arrangement. it certainly makes it doable for those of us who are just middle of the road players and not trained classical guitarists....

  • you guys gotta give him credit theres not many youtube videos that teach the song

  • Many thanks for posting this video!! I just played this at my sister's wedding this past weekend. The video helped out a great deal.

  • Exactly the arrangement is using substitution. I have half a BA Of Music and spent the past 20 years playing music for a living. Since when are the more then I, IV and V chords in classical music?

BTW an inverted V chord is still a V chord. Suppose you could call it a iii m6, no 5 (minor 3 chord with a 6th and no 5).

  • Actually I beleive that he is doing a superb job, it's just that the piece is a little bit more tricky than it looks. Repeat and repeat till you get it, or perhaps it might be a little bit beyond your capability.
