Halo 3 katana and security helmet glich

We are not hackers. This is legit. I was checking my armors because i had stupid armor on and i found my Security helmet and katana body piece. So here is this major glitch. I do not know how to do this. I do not have all achievments either.

When that happened to me my security helmate kept on disappearing but I keep on getting it back! When I saw this I thought did the same thing happen to someone else?
