LED Headlamp for my scooter testing
13x 3W Edixeons with 8-25grad. collimators.
2.7A Current at 12.6V
Other headlamp is one of the cars headlamps with 90Watt halogen.

  • YES!!! I've been looking for a video like this one for a long time. How do you have a regulated voltage supply for the LEDs? I am considering making a similar unit for my vehicle's headlamps.

  • Thats alot of heat (watts)to manage. How did you heat sink so the LEDs would not exceed their Tj?

  • U can see little radiator in the middle of video. It's 86C with it and 54 with fan.

    thanks for publishing this. My mother wants such a headlamp. :D

    Today we were taking a ride with the bikes, but the night overwhelmed us as we were in the forrest. She had a damn dynamo-already-mounted-crap-li­ght and I had none!

    It was horrible! I just ordered 2 Cree 3W Headlamps at dealextreme.
