There is no doubt in my mind that the South pole is the senior and dominant pole , that the South pole is up and the North pole is down , one thing is clear is that it is the purest place on Earth .I see a future in which the maps will show the South pole on top .

What a beautiful view from 38,000-41,000 feet of the South Pole region.

You're luck the plane didn't break down right there. I can't imagine emergency landing in a freezing cold like this.

I could vouch for that experience, i had flown AvRo Rj 70 myself that close to Himalayas and would love tp fly near the pole.

was it cold?? usually on the ife you can see flight path, it also tells you the outside air temperature...
