  • excellent review. i love mine as well. i don't know if i've ever seen the hawk bill version. very cool. thanks for sharing.

Thank you, man! I really appreciate that. And yeah, i think it's been discontinued, you might still be able to find one on Amazon. No problem, brother :)

  • i notice my blade is off centered and every time i open it, it brushes against the top of the handle. scratches appear on my blade. anyone have this problem?

  • @cadnyc

That happens when the pivot screw is too loose. Tighten it up a little bit and you'll be good to go :)

  • where do you buy your boker subcom titan knives from??? recommendations?

  • @cadnyc

I bought mine off of Amazon :)

  • Just bought it .5 oz lighter I hope he's right about it being a good knife time will tell

  • Making a titanium frame isn't that amazing, considering that it's stamped out of a sheet. Forging titanium is what's expensive, as it has to be done in a vacuum.

  • Thanks alot for the great and detailed review, just bought one.

    Kind regards!

  • 440c stainless is about the same as aus10, it is generally considered an upgrade from aus8.

  • i wish the handle and blade were slightly thicker on this knife

  • my subcom titan is very tight when trying open it with my thumb and i keep cutting my left thumb when closing the blade. anyone have that problem?
