Makes me think of my late grandmother who played a HUGE part in my upbringing. We always used to listen to this song and other irish country songs in grandas car, she always used to say to me that its true that you'll never miss your mothers love til shes buried beneath the clay, I now know she's right. I miss her everyday, she passed away 5 years ago this past November. Rest in peace Nanny x
my mum loved this song and would put it on the jukebox every time we went out and shed had a couple - it made her cry thinking of her late mum and now it makes me cry thinking of her....
