  • on your comment on the trading programs holding down stocks, does that mean we should be playing less liquid stocks that they would shy away from?

  • Its tough because many of these moves make it from point to point B, but the road taken is a winding one - so smaller sizes and longer time frames has been an adjustment. It is tough to avoid stocks that are doing volume, I think you just have to be aware, especially during the first and last 30 minutes of trading

  • i have no clue either great question, andy do you have an answer?

  • excellent video....

  • Do any humans trade stocks any more at the big firms? For example, in FAZ when twice or 3 times the normal 5 minute volume comes in who is that, a machine or a big money trader?

  • Good question. I would imagine the options would be halted as well. If not I'm sure there would be a hefty premium in either direction

  • You were a bit lucky with that trade, but i can tell you have a lot of experience by the way you managed it. Nice

  • lol i was in 1k shares of lvs to andy...i saw it take off and placed a 10 cent trailing stop on it...but got wicked out at 13.52 in the 3rd candle. crazy fun...my heart was pounding 20 minutes after the trade. ; )

  • Hi what settings in Trade-ideas do you use to find those volume spikes like LVS? Thanks

  • Short or long options? Either way I don't think it's a good idea. Buying options is expensive and being short is very risky.

  • was there a chance to hedge yourself using options in case you were stuck short?
