if he was telling the truth then his wordline is seperate from ours, and nothing he did here would have any effect on his world. What is a paradox anyway? I understand it's a contradiction, but do we all get sucked into a black hole when we encounter one? or is it just describing the impossible?

No your math is really bad or you just don't understand what "happened". The story is he went from the year 2036 to 1975 to get a computer, he ended up in 2000 for whatever reason, posted online for whatever reason, then peaced out. If he was born in 1998, lived until 2036(making him 38 by my math), travelling back to 2000 wouldn't make him 30 years younger, or his trip to 1975 would have turned him into a sperm.
