@semekn B.S. I've got their base line Agility 125 which is even made in China.. 7500 miles without problems, Kymco makes one of the best scooters on the market. I'm selling my Kawasaki 650 to get one of their maxi scoots.

@HcoreSouljah Motorcycle-USA is riding it now and listed it as having 28HP. Not sure if that's at the wheel or at the crank but all the different numbers are making it hard to settle on this bike.

Btw, the comparison still stands though, it's as strong as a burgman 400 etc etc, or at least almost the same on the dyno. It's just that... most have much lower BHP than noted on paper :p

It's all exagarated (how do you spell that word?), on the dyno, it doesn't have 33bhp, it has around 24 bhp... which is the same as a 400 and some 500ccm bikes btw. All those catalog values are... overdone and not true. This was tested on a pessimistic dyno though... google it and search forums for the graphic test from that dyno.

I read a review that claimed this 299cc scooter produces 33 HP which is the same as the 400cc bikes from Japan. (Burgman/Majesty). It is also weighs LESS than the Kymco xciting 250. The bigger engine and lighter weight gives it performance that is much closer to the 500 Xciting than the 250 Xciting according to the review. I considered getting one when they come out but after seeing some pics and this clip, I think the front end is Ugly as hell and looks like a bird with it's pointy beak.

It's a 300cc.

@semekn rubbish, I've had a Kymco Movie, Xciting, and Yamaha Majesty, and while I prefer the Majesty, the Kymcos are a solid bike that are excellent value for money.
