Thank god they look like this, I just found something crawling on my shirt, and I was afraid that it was one, but now that I see that they look like this, I'm not so scared any more, I think it was a gnat.

This video has extreme depth-of-field issues.
im a hairstylist, and yesterday when i was parting a womans hair, i seen loads of them run with the hair when i parted it. it was really hard for me not too freak out because they were HUGE! i had too say i think she has a scalp complaint and refer her too a doctor. Well once she left, i felt so sick. i couldnt beleive the size of the things! creepy little bastards! :')

@davidcon16 Yes, I caught this infestation early, hence their being so small... Lice can get to the size of a carpenter ant...

you get lice by sharing hats, sleeping on the same pillow, getting lice by a friend, kissing someones head with lice etc

Uh, not sure about that kissing someone's head with lice comment - suppose it could be true if a louse crawled onto you somehow...

Head lice are evolving, the big ones have got wings, so no doubt they are ready for take off, then hopefully we can 'spray' them while they are 'airbourne' and kill the buggers before they land

I've not seen any with wings... I see no reports of any with wings, either...
