The car didn't want to turn on with the normal ignition switch, so I decided to make my own. It was relatively easy, the hard part was hiding all the wiring. I placed the relay and fuse link in the little engine computer compartment, I passed a cable through the drain hole and connected it to the starter, I passed another cable through the firewall using the hole where the wiring harness passes through, I then used BSW's dice guide to gain access to the cigarette lighter, and PRESTO!!!

  • @ChimoSteve They still need the key

  • @Mobi1290 correction: i agree this started the vehicle. i meant to say that the car was clearly off, and then clearly started by the switch.

  • @tedhornstra You idiot, all cars have that option, it's call aftermarket.

  • @Jaesango he told you in the video, if you were paying attention, that the ignition switch was broken.

  • @ChimoSteve ummm no they dont. you still have to have the key

  • @arramad look at the rpm's on the car. the engine is running.

  • @ChimoSteve not really. you still need the key

  • what you did is.....running another car next to you every time you press on the cigarette lighter !

  • @jimmygrizz28 There is no remote start on the stock BMW key. BMW, to this day doesn't have a 'remote start' option
