I wish that the video quality was better! ): Thank you for putting the time and effort into making this video though!

Why use Russian alphabet? What's wrong with traditional Mongolian script?
-
This, THIS, is the language of a TRUE mongo.

Not be a troll, trust me.
I expected to see the classical Mongolian script, but I was pounded with Cryllic in Ulaanbaatar (and all of Mongolia)! The only place is classic Mongolian alphabet is in use is in northern China (Inner Mongolia)! stupid Russians. and ex-communist leaders wanting to keep Cryllic.

@a9987766 Greek doesn't use Cyrillic.

(Those people arguing over languages and countries please like take it to a hotel room or somewhere)
Thanks for teaching us! Thanks for the video, it's through people with charity like you that all people can share their knowledge. Thanks for this, Mongolia is beautiful I heard. I hope I can see it with my own eyes in this lifetime.

cyrillic alphabet is phonetic just like latin. that is why these 2 alphabets are so popular. mongolian script is not efficient and with modern computers isn't practical.
-
cyrillic alphabet came from bulgarian empire and through russian influence it is used in many non-slavic countries like mongolia.

@a9987766 said the guy from belarus.....yu dont need to learn russian you practically speak it already...what have you to offer?What have you achieved?you better learn japanese to get out of eastern europe i live there too and know it sucks,yet not as much as belarus no offense here,i do not care for countries i am a citizen of the world i live in bulgaria and i can tell you everything that is wrong with it without caring .Its not your fault like all eastern countries you were f-ed by russia...
@xxxxKairixxxx Russian and Mongolian are not related at all. Mongolian now uses the Cyrillic alphabet (like Russian) but the actual language itself has absolutely no similarities. Mongolian actually has its own script which is quite beautiful. Its sad that it is not used anymore.

@the0th Yeah i guess your right, but it sucks that a huge part of what is Mongolian is gone. I'm not Mongolian, i'm actually Mexican, but i find all languages interesting. It's kinda my hobby. Note: English is a pretty hard language to learn, i mean have you never noticed how weird this language is? How things are pronounced completely different than they are spelled? One that gave my parents particular grief was CHristian CHurch, odd huh?
