Ryan Ostrowski (#1), who has Autism and Cerebal Palsy, fulfills his dream of playing football and scoring a touchdown. His brother's team, the Macomb Mustangs, added him as an honorary player and set up a play for him against the NE Detroit Shamrocks. Michael (#24) leads his brother into the end zone, and both teams demonstrate what sportsmanship is really about....It was a priceless and unforgettable moment!

  • i remember seeing this on the news(: so touching. where was this again tho? (:

  • @SashaLeeanna ...Hi Sash! Thanks, I don't believe this was ever on the news. It was taped in Macomb, Mi. Where are you from?

  • I'm sorry if you get offended by this... Did the other players on the other team let him get the touchdown?

  • @mysterrugixs No not offended at all. It was set up by both teams to give him a chance to play. There are no football programs for special needs in our area. :)

  • I work with students and adults with disabilties. This reminds me of one of my students who just recently died. It was always his dream to play football. When I showed Jake (my student) this video, he said I want to be like that boy. Unfortunatly, he never got to. Thank you so much for putting up this video, It is an inspiration to me and all my students. God bless you and you amazing son.

  • @aligirl100 Your comment made me cry...I'm glad he got to see Ryan's video, but so sad he never had the opportunity to play a sport he loved. God bless you, your students are fortunate to have a teacher who cares so much!! :)

  • this gives me goose bumps. :)

  • God bless everyone that had something to do with this!

  • What a great video, I have an Autistic Daughter and I was extremely moved and uplifted by the video.. I am proud of all who participated and wish I knew how to get in touch with that #61 on the Shamrocks. He was one of the last to leave Ryan's side because he wanted to give him a high five to mark his accomplishment. I've been fortunate enough to work with a lot of brave and honorable men and looking at that video I see the next generation has them too.

  • this was great...so touching!.. made me a grown 25 year old man cry like a baby..

  • why does people press the dislike button ?? i Just dont get it !!!!

  • That´s what football is all about, effort, succes and fulfilling our dreams.
