Hey guy's! Before i say anything just want you to know that I'm Andrei. Yeah most athletes don't comment on vids of them selves but i was just looking through some of my last year performances and read some comments because i was bored. Thanks for all the criticism, good or bad!, really doesn't affect me because I'm just focusing on improving right now and yes i can also agree this wasn't one of my best skates, but hey, that's what practice is for! Happy new year everyone!
No I wouldn't. I would say: I won gold! I give a fuck. lol
Don't get me wrong, I thought his skating was really good. But you can't force me into thinking that this guy performed brilliantly, which he didn't. yeah, it was enough, but I just feel he needs to improve on certain technical elements, and definitely on components cause the seniors are rough and so many young lads these days. You know, if you will be so sensitive to any criticism, fucks it's gonna be hard for you man!
@lukosius1221 I'd hate to be your child if you think saying that isn't saying something bad about 18 year old that just won a gold medal at a world event ... seriously, if you won that event and somebody said to you "I wasn't that impressed" you wouldn't feel insulted? That's the definition of raining on someone's parade. Makes for a wonderful world when someone feels the need to share that opinion with everyone
@JymMorton I can leave a comment because I want to say my opinion, which I am completely entitled to. I am not saying anything bad about Andrei good performance. But, a few other skaters that are better at skating messed it up, so I am disappointed!
@lukosius1221 how does that relate to you and your scores in the long program? Yuzuru is very good, and scored 151 at 4 continents for the 2011 season, that doesn't mean Andrei's performance was unimpressive and if you don't like it what's so difficult about not leaving a comment?
@lukosius1221 Points are points, when was the last time you scored 132.86 in your long program, and in seniors the points are handed out with the same, only difference is you have an extra minute to get more. Last year his total would have put him 17th at the Worlds, maybe he's a lot more impressive then your narrow eye can see
I'm so impressed! Didn't know Canada had won at Junior Worlds. There's only a few Canadian Senior men who can land triple axels and Andrei does 2 in this program and makes all his jumps look so easy. He will definitely be second to Patrick Chan at the next Canadian championships.
As well as his mom and dad Pavel who I hapenned to know. I know how much feellings Paul has for his son and I whish more championships are awaiting ahead.
He skated well, and congratulations to him, but I would like him to put a little more personality into his program, he is young though, and I'm sure it'll just take him a little time. Хорошо Андрей! может быть я буду делать сореврованнии ещё раз... Хм...
sorry, but as a world junior champ does not look very impressive. The standard has not been that high probably. Good luck for the future. It will get really taugh in seniors though....
See, if you have more than one skate to your event, you don't nescessarily have to be 1st in the short or the long to be first over all. consistancy is the name of the game.Congratulations Andrei.
@Frozawn Good luck this weekend! Skate your heart out :)

Wow. Spread eagle into 3A-3T as well as 3A? Amazing. He certainly gets remarkable spring when he jumps and great knee action when he lands.
