I lived in Alice Springs for two years. I met many Pitjatjantjara people and learnt about their conditions. Even if the purpose of this cartoon was to show the conditions under which most Aboriginals live, I can say Lucien has UNDERSTATED their conditions. Most Aboriginal people live with trachoma diabetes, malnutrition, extreme poverty. Go to Alice Springs and walk down the dry Todd River for a day in, say, about 6 months. Ask them if "Sorry" translated into new eyesight and kidneys.

mate it uses stereotypes to make a very valid thought-provoking point - for all the rhetoric of politicians at the end of the day they're just parading around while the aboriginals dont get any better

Yes the stolen generation what a pity. I heard a story from an aboriginal lady who told her story about being taken away from her mother at a young age. She was looked after and brought up by a white family. She ended up as a head matron in a queensland hospital . Just think what a terrible life she has endured.

mate the purpose of satire is to find a humorous way to make a serious point, and I think this video does it quite well. everyone talks a lot about what we should be doing for the aborigines, but nothing seems to ever get done.
by the way, are you in high school or just started uni because its only those kinds of people who are so arrogantly infatuated with the jargon they've learned.
