I'm somewhat shocked as a South African to hear this nonsense. Go back to America if you're going to distort history like this.
Apartheid was an awful system but your video is so distorted that it deserves to be in the Soviet gallery of propaganda. They wore gumboots because every mine has water in it - just a fact of life - I've been in many. And how do you wear ankle chains and gumboots simultaneously. What a load of rubbish!

Odd and strangly inaccurate! Too much own interpretation I'd def not use this for education! I have seen gumboot dancing often.
