Azerbaijan, a Persian world meaning protected by fire, is Iranian, and Azeri is not Turk. Turkey, in Selchuk time ruled part of Iran which was later defeated and kicked out by Iranians, but the language in the region was affected by Turkish garbage. It does not mean that Azerbaijan is Turk, Azerbaijan is Azeri, and Azeri is Arya, and Arya is Iranian.
