Daybreakers Movie Review -- Film Pigs Vlog #49

The Film Pigs go see the always-expressionistically consistent Ethan Hawke in a vampire picture about vampires. Who conduct business. And drive Chryslers. Oddly, a movie released in the first week of January somehow isn't that good. I mean, Todd was okay with it.

Did you remove the part where you said you watched Saw 6? Or am I crazy? Todd said he was entertained by it( I found it clever with the whole health insurance undertone going on) Plus the Saw series entertains me.

I feel like Daybreakers had some potential. If it hadn't taken itself so seriously and just went full-on cheesefest I might have enjoyed it more. I actually liked the mood a lot, and also when Dafoe said anything irrelevant (which happened a lot). The bat scares were also pretty cringe-worthy. Drinking game?

Daybreakers was juvenile. Dafoe was wasted.

9 (the animated movie) was one of four movies I have ever left early in the Theater.

My list of movies I walked out on:

1.) The Faculty

2.) The remake of the Incredible Hulk (Edward Norton one)

3.) Mentally I left Eagle Eye until the end came then I wanted to shoot myself in the face.

4.) 9...about an hour in and even then I had been wanting to leave for 20 mins.

i have to disagree i thought daybreakers was a pretty good movie i mean the only part that really stood out was the beginning with the little girl that killed herself but ethan hawke was pretty awesome as the protaganist the brother i thought was a fucking pussy but great review u guys are gods
