So with the HD PVR from Hauppauge, am I limited to only recording video live on TV or can I record football games that are stored on the DVR hard drive? I also have a Blu-Ray burner and would like to save those games in HD on those blu-ray discs I have. Can I do this with the PVR?

hey that's pretty good. cud you run the file thru mediainfo (or a similar program) so we can see the profile of the encoded file? what encoding options do you have: profile level? (4.0, 5.1, etc) r-frames? b-frames? trellis?
