It's a bit shaky (sorry, I didn't use a tripod) but here it is... HD shots of a Full Moon using a Sony HDR-SR11. Manual Exposure and Focus had to be used. Watch in HD! ;)

Un poco movido pero sorry, no usé tripié. Tomas en HD de una Luna Llena tomadas con una Sony HDR-SR11. Se usaron controles manuales de exposición y enfoque. Véanlo en HD! ;)

  • Do you upload the MTS file to youtube or do you convert it to another format? I tried upping the original sr12 HD files before but it came out all weird.

    Great capture.

  • Yeah, I tried that too with my first video, with no luck. I use Adobe Media Encoder to convert the MTS file to MPG (just be careful to retain aspect ratio and assign HDTV-quality settings to the conversion). Some people have told me that .H264 and WMV also work, but I haven't tried those formats.

  • I'm doing pretty much the same thing, though using Sony Vegas. Just wish I had a better internet connection with these huge files, took me about 12 hours to upload my latest video to youtube.

I think I may have tried the WMV format, it resulted in a massive file, my memories a little dodgy though, may be thinking of another format.

  • Just took some footage of the moon with your advice in mind, much more detailed than the videos I have up at the moment.

    Cheers
