I think what the video was trying to get at is the fact that most people only pay attention to trivial things. The watcher of this video is supposed to be more drawn into the TV in the background (talking about Charlie Sheen) just like the wife was, even though she should be paying attention to her husband's less-than-enthralling stories. The video is called Dogbone because the wife is like the dog with his bone; she only has the attention for her own selfish interests. @bobtucker7
