First band I ever saw, -they were brilliant, in 1970 - with my childhood dream girl - our one and only date. Been all downhill since then!

Paul K what derailed your life so badly, you're an enigma, I stopped using even though I had nothing left, burned all my bridges, you had so much to live for yet you couldn't stop....you were so beautiful and talented.....best guitarist ever...nothing can take that away

now im listening to Free with fresh ears, not being of that generation i can now truly appreciate why i liked Angus Youngs guitar as a teenager, he def borrowed alot of Pauls vibrato and dexterity, wow!!...oh and Bonamassa is a very good new copycat of his style, just not his Feel and Mojo just yet!...im going to watch alot more of Free in the future!

R.I.P. Paul Kossoff - you left us far too soon. One of the most underrated guitarists of all time. Hope you're All Right Now.

my five top rock bands are (1) free (2) led zeppellin (3) bebop de luxe (4) thin lizzy (5) the rory gallagher band all are in no particular order of merit but they are without doubt in my mind the bands that influenced rock there are many others who are exellent perhaps it should have been a top 20 then rush journey bad co eagles and so many more would have been mentioned as for top five vocalists go (1) brian rogers (2) steve perry (3) robert plant (4) eric clapton (5) david coverdale the end.
