Learn how to upload High Definition (HD) videos using Windows Movie Maker Vista

In this tutorial you will learn a simple method for uploading the highest quality video using Windows Movie Maker.

Comparatively:
Normal Quality = VHS
High Quality = DVD
HD = Blu-Ray

Although I call my high quality videos "High Definition", they're not really. Genuine "High Definition" videos are shot with High Definition cameras which my digital camera is not. Genuine High Definition video footage is also much sharper and clearer than the "HD" videos I have. My "HD" videos sit somewhere between "High Quality" & "High Definition.

p0lar0id what do you need to have the HD settings & how does you tube know it's a HD video & while watching this video on this site it has the 720p HD option?(if you don't know what I mean try it when you watch this video on you tube).

@sampsonist There are a couple things you can do to achieve HD on Youtube. 1) Original video footage is shot on an HD camera and then uploaded onto Youtube (Youtube will automatically recognize HD video = 720p/1080p). 2) Video footage is exported as "High Definition" using an editing program. (The original footage shown in this video is not HD but since I exported it using an HD setting, Youtube recognizes it as HD.

If you upload a non HD video on Youtube the HD option will not show up.

I have Windows Vista so you may not have that option if you're using a different OS.

Please help me after getting the HD tools they now automatically work on any video that I even don't want to be HD when I save them & they automatically get deleted when next time I open WMM & always make them HD that even make videos' sizes go up to like 10 GB etc. what could the problem be?
