Whitney has never performed one of her songs the same live as she did on her recordings. When she first came out, critics (like some on YouTube) accused her of lip-synching, so to guard against future accusations of that nature, she decided never to sing a song live the way it was recorded. Fortunately, it has maded her a great arranger. I think that's one of the things that has made her wildly successful.

I LOVE this medley. I actually like it better than the original versions of the songs. It's such a nice a beat. And Whitney sounds great, certainly better than she's sounded in a while. She just needs to work on re-training her voice and she will be almost back to the way she sounded in the 1990s. In the meantime, keep on Whitney. Can't wait to see you in the remake of "Sparkle" and hopefully the remake of "Waiting to Exhale." Love you, Whitney!

@jimmyfab; And exactly how do you know her voice is gone forever? Mary J. Blige had just as serious a drug problem but she sounds awesome now. Chaka Khan is another example. I believe Whitney WILL recover her voice for most part. However, in the meantime, Whitney can SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNGG­GGG!!!!!!!!!! She's definitely better than any of the other singers out there now, including Mariah Carey (yes, I said it!!). Nothing against Mariah, I like her, but I like Whitney more.
