@Cheapand EasyCooking Wouldn't be able to afford the Internet at $9-$12 per meal!! That is a "splurge" price, buys a large pizza, without all of the fuss and energy of cooking it yourself. Buck a meal = hot dogs, tuna sandwich, TV dinners, pot pies, etc. For many of us, it is a reality, a necessity, as the Internet is also a necessity these days.... $9-=$12 meals are not. But thanks for the effort.

I agree. That is really expensive. I don't pay that much for a whole days worth of meals for my family.

We have a budget of fourty dollars a week. Twelve dollars a meal is just too much. This might work for those who do not need to eat cheap.

I apologize to those of you who find this meal not cheap. As I've said before, it should have only been about 8 or 9 dollars had the item not been mismarked. I'm curious how you spend your food dollar if you are limited to $40 a week, and how many people you have to feed for that amount.
I'm also curious how you pay for internet when your food budget is so small.

What is your average cost for a meal for four people? This breaks down to $3 per person.
It would have been less, but one of the items we purchased was mismarked as a sale item.
