PROJECT XP-833: 1964 Pontiac Banshee Prototype Concept Car created by John DeLorean, General Manager of Pontiac Motors division of General Motors. Car was built to compete with the Ford Mustang and was called, "The Mustang Beater" by DeLorean.
The car has less than 1,500 original miles on it with most of the miles coming from the early developmental days while at Pontiac. The car is a true unrestored survivor as it still is the way that it was when shown to the GM management over 40 years ago including the original paint, interior and drivetrain...
This is the original one-of-a-kind prototype coupe is For Sale. For additional information, contact Mark by phone at (949)226-7053.
@PasswordisPassword24 idk why they thought this car was threat to the already iconic corvette and they didn't even have a problem with it going up against camaro for 2 decades

@stopglobalswarming It was a threat to the corvette so it was canceled. It was faster and better looking. Chevy even took the design and made the stingray.
