im looking into buying a car like this, just a 17 year old kid who needs wheels and has to pay for the car, insurance, and gas all by himself.

I am most likely shipping the car from New York to Southampton in early June. I might be sharing a cargo container with another team from New Jersey. It can be done for a little over $1000 or free if you get a sponsor.

Yes it sure does. The rules stipulate that we do the rally in a car with an engine displacement of 1000cc or less.
