Of course it wouldn't work. And as you pointed out, governments are passing stupid laws all the time. It doesn't stop those laws from doing real damage to real people's lifes

Future governments could use SOPA as a good-idea-that-was-badly-imple­mented, and make a even more dangerous law

You think the gov's will NEVER succeed. I don't. I think "let them, they will fail" is a dangerous idea.

you do know the act makes it so sites can be blocked by visa and MasterCard affectively cutting them from funds, as well as blocking sites from Google and other search engines.

you are correct that this act cannot stop piracy THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM personally I don't care if I can pirate content or not. I care about the freedom of speech violations, the fact there is no due process for appeals. the fact company's could take down websites to crush rivals with little to no legal consequences.

I subscribed back in the days because you had good quality content and interesting opinions, but since your whole depression thing (That's at least what it has seemed like to me) quality has declined and your opinions seem silly and I generally disagree with pretty much anything you've said lately. Besides, discussing anything with you seems pointless.
