@hammer55292 BTW I'm not even from Maine you angry young lad. I'm from Connecticut. I moved here because the people here are among the nicest people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. The smaller Maine communities are like one big family. Everyone looks out for each other. They are honest, hard working people, and yes, they welcome people from out of state into their communities with open arms and would bend over backwards to help YOU out as well. (continued)

MAins is a good state outdoors, but the people suck. I think the MAiners are the absolute worst people in the Northeast, I hate them with a passion. They hate TOURISTS!! They want the money, like whores, but they hate the NON-RESIDENTS!! I call them COUNTRY WHORES!! They will suck your dick for money, but they hate your guts!!! You're retarded. Maine is probably one of the nicest places to live. So let's take a tally off the good things Maine has: Rich people, President Bush's house in Kennebunkport, an Olympian, Ian Crocker, and a whole lot less asshole that Michigan. The summers here are very nice and warm, but not to hot. Don't see why you'd want it hotter. And Ann Arbor is at almost the same latitude as Boston, which is 2 hours south of Portland, so it's gunna be the same temperature. O, and we also have the ocean.

I want to own a summer home in Maine. Somewhere maybe like Freeport, Portland or Brunswick. I was an intern at Maine State Music Theater and absolutely loved it there. Got a little home sick but once I settled in and realized how nice the people were there I could totally see myself raising a family there one day God willing. Its also close to Canada where there are even more nice people. So thats my dream. Thanks for posting.
