what size cable would you use to supply the actual chlorinator cell. The cable on ours seems to get really warm, hot even when running for only 5 mins? its a 5vdc cell which draws 23 amps max

is this an electronic chlorinator? there is a lot of chlorinators that work on the water going thru the system and when the water shuts off, the chlorinator shuts off. By shutting down your system with a timer, the led system doesn't work.

You should also mention the two types of timers that are out there. Like the 110 that only has 1 hot vs the 220 that has the two hot lines available.

Good point......the pump, chlorinator, and timer all have to be the same voltage. Can't mix and mingle. thanks

yes it's an electronic salt chlorine generator and we want to kill power to it when we kill power to the pump to insure that in case the flow switch fails the unit doen't make chlorine when the pump is off.
