  • One of the only 2 real Lancasters still flying flies over my house regularly in the spring and summer. Great plane.

  • @ThirdDegreeWitch This model crashed in Holland in I think 1993. The Quadra 42 engines were then used in the Ghost Squadron's Bf110's seen in the 1994 season.

  • Scary landing, the Barns Wallace bouncing bomb didn't bounce that high. Beautiful model but wow that takes some effort to pack up and no doubt put together to start with.

  • @emochiken99 The Lancaster originally did have a mid upper turret but this was removed on some variants depending on mission type e.g Dambusters Lancaster
